Junior Division

Ginzburg Drillers - 10 (3-0)

Riverdale Pediatric Dentistry - 9 (2-1)

 

The Ginzburg Drillers beat Riverdale Pediatric Dentistry by the score of 10-9 to remain undefeated and take over sole possession of first place in the junior division. For the Drillers,  Corey Walcott had 4 points and Mairead Fox added 2 points. For Dentistry, Jack Duitz and Isaac Brainson each scored 3 points.

 

Buchbinder & Warren Realty - 24 (2-1)

Jasper’s Pizza - 7 (1-2)

 

Buchbinder & Warren Realty beat Jasper’s Pizza by the score of 24-7. Henry Mann had 14 points in the win for Realty, while Jonathan Amaral recorded all 7 points for Jasper’s Pizza in the losing effort.

 

 

Varsity Division

YBY Computers - 23 (1-3)

Riverdale YM-YWHA - 19 (0-3)

 

YBY Computers beat the Riverdale YM-YWHA, 23-19, in a matchup between two teams searching for their first victories of the season. Moshe Wolff had 10 points and Gabriel Storfer had 5 points for Computers. Josh Lehman and Jacob Fadda each had 4 points for the Riverdale Y.

Invitations Plus - 26 (2-1)

RNL Vending - 9 (1-2)

Invitations Plus defeated RNL Vending by the score of 26-9. Ethan Sidelsky and Josh Morris each scored 8 points to lead the Invitations offense. Caleb Siegel had 4 points for Vending.

Councilman Koppell - 35 (3-0)

Hertz Dental Starz - 17 (2-1)

 

Councilman Koppell came out on top in a fight for first place, beating the Hertz Dental Starz by a score of 35-17. Akiva Hain led Koppell with 15 points and teammate Adin Rothstein had 4 points. For the Starz, Christian Batista had 9 points and Joaquin Rojas-Tineo had 4 points.

 

Pro Division

Riverdale Kiwanis - 46 (3-0)

Riverdale YM-YWHA - 20 (1-2)

 

Riverdale Kiwanis won its third consecutive game by dominating the Riverdale YM-YWHA, 46-20. William Feldman led Kiwanis with 20 points and was followed closely by teammate Jonathan Katzman with 16 points. For the Y, Justin Ryan and Serge Tucker each had 2 points in the loss.

 

Skyview Wines & Spirits - 28 (1-2)

Advanced Dental Care - 21 (1-2)

Skyview Wines & Spirits picked up its first victory of the season with a 28-21 decision over Advanced Dental Care. Zeke Blauner led Skyview with 18 points and Valerie Lavar added 8 points. For Dental Care, Addison Bent had 8 points and Diego Figueroa Hepner had 5 points.

 

RiverKingSports.com - 28 (3-0)

Taller Dental Magic - 12 (0-3)

 

RiverKingSports.com kept its perfect record intact with an impressive 28-12 victory against Taller Dental Magic. Ethan Jesselson led all scorers with 12 points and teammate Max Berger contributed 5 points in the win. Josh Lieman had a solid game for the Magic and scored 7 points in the losing effort.

 

 

Super Pro Division

IDT Energy - 50 (1-1)

Skyview Supersonics - 47 (0-3)

 

IDT Energy enjoyed its first victory of the season by defeating the Skyview Supersonics, 50-47, in a high-scoring thriller. Daniel Jonas had 18 points for the Energy and Joe Kanner had 7 points. Despite the loss, the Sonics had two players reach double-digits, including Aidan O'Brien, who had a fantastic game and led all scorers with 22 points, as well as Conor O'Brien, who finished with 10 points.

 

Hertz Dental Stars - 29 (2-0)

Skyview Wines & Spirits - 23 (2-1)

 

The Hertz Dental Stars picked up right where they left off before last week’s bye and handed the Skyview Wines & Spirits their first loss of the season, 29-23. Avi Chefitz had 15 points and Yosef Kessler had 9 points in the win. For the Spirits, Josh Vaughan had 15 points and Moise Romano had 4 points in the loss.

 

*Note: Hudson Parkway Pharmacy (1-1) had a bye and will return to action next Sunday for week four of the super pro division schedule.
